Rain Carbon products are found in many sectors of the construction industry, from the roads we drive on to some of the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Rain Carbon produces carbonaceous products for roadway construction such as asphalt pitch and sealers derived from both coal tar and from petroleum. We supply naphthalene intermediates produced at our distillation facilities to numerous manufacturers of dispersants such as polynaphthalene sulfonate (PNS) and polycarboxalate ether (PCE), which are essential for concrete admixtures and in the production of gypsum wallboard. We also use a portion of our naphthalene intermediates in-house to produce phthalic anhydride (PA), which is used in the production of plastics and resins. Furthermore, our sister company, Rain Cements Limited, has its origins in construction as a major producer of portland cement in India under the "Priya Cement" brand name.
